Parent Involvement Matters!
Boyz to Kings is a parent-led organization and our mission is to empower each other with effective parenting skills, through relevant and engaging workshop topics, so that we can become confident role models in our children’s lives. Our monthly required parent huddle/workshop gets the parents involved, requires them to have some skin in the game and proves to be just as rewarding as a youth session. To that end, our informative and practical workshops include several topics, however the bold stance that the Boyz to Kings Inc team take with each parent daily is highly essential. We stand together and declare “Not This One”, not my child.

Our Parent Huddles not only aim to provide ways that parents can back up our organization's teachings for the guiding principle of the month but also create a supportive community for all families involved.
Ensuring the Youth are Present
Part of teaching the youth responsibility is showing them how they should show up and be present. Parents are asked to ensure that their child or children are present during the times that we gather.
